The Plus

The Plus is a furniture manufacturing facility in Magnor, Norway, combining production, visitor facilities and publicly accessible outdoor spaces within a single destination.

Covering approximately 7,000 m², the project was developed to set a new benchmark for sustainable furniture manufacturing. Built using locally sourced mass timber, low-carbon concrete and recycled steel, it became the first industrial building in the Nordic region to achieve BREEAM Outstanding certification. Alongside Vestre’s production facilities, the development includes a visitor centre, walking trails and public spaces that allow visitors to experience the manufacturing process within its forest setting.
