We are proud to announce that two Degree of Freedom projects have been shortlisted for the 2026 IABSE Awards, organised by the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE).
Drammen City Bridge has been shortlisted in the Large Road and Rail Bridges category. Spanning 260 metres across the River Drammenselva and the railway below, the bridge reconnects the historic districts of Bragernes and Strømsø while prioritising walking, cycling and public transport.
Kunstsilo has been shortlisted in the Rehabilitation category, recognising the transformation of a historic grain silo into a new art museum.
The IABSE Awards recognise some of the world’s most outstanding structural engineering projects, making this international recognition a significant achievement for the teams behind both projects.
The winners will be announced at the IABSE Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner in Zurich, Switzerland, on 13 November 2026.
